I have been trying to link to my Xbox with Flashfxp it try's to connect it show connected to the ip address then it show connection fail (connection lost) after about 20 seconds I put the Ip address in the server and put xbox for (user name) and xbox for password) I booted the xbox with evox can some one help please . OH ya I have the pc and the Xbox link though a router with a firewall.

temporary disable a firewall on your pc if you have one,
go to my network places and add new place, use
ftp://xbox:xbox@yourxboxip:21 _________________ Xbox v1.0/1.1/1.5/1.6a

Did not work (windows could not access this folder) could it be in the firewall of my router? I looked and can't disable the routers firewall

I booted the xbox with evox can some one help please
you do this before you try ftping
are you using the ip given by evox
have you tried stitic ip in evox
are you using the crossover or the straight cable (straight is what you need)
have you check your pc ip
start
run
type in cmd push ok
a dos window will open
type in ipconfig push enter
your pc ip should come up what is it as well what is xbox as well they need to be close
eg
pc 192.168.1.1
xbox 192.168.1.3
if not set xbox stitic ip to something close to pc

Are you using a router? In not you will need a crossover cable. _________________

Yeah bottem of first post hes running a router.

go to allxboxskins.com and search through thier tools for craxtion 4.0 its works wonders and is xbox friendly.
