I got a Silver slim ps2 for $20 with cables and 1 controller. Not going to chip it only doing custom pant and going to sell it. So far I have stripped it and sanded it smooth. Man its so compacked in it not like the xbox. Good old xbox I love you. couple photos of it so far.
After sanding it all I got a bleeding nose for sum randem reason mybe my xbox did it to me because I was playing with a xbox. tisse up my nose stopped the bleeding so i could keep working on evil ps2.

What like a metel flake silver, chrome, or flat mat?
Thats it i might try a mystic mustang paint job for my next xbox.
If your going with silver details are you keeping the base color black?

Just my 2 cents but i like the way metel flake dark blue looks when you got silver highlights.

At least the original, fat PS2 had a decent size fan in it to keep it cool. The slimline's are renowned for overheating.
I think a black base with flames rising from the bottom would be a great paint job! No one else would have it.

They're possible to work on, you just have to have a steady hand and a magnifying glass! The bigger ones aren't too bad to work on, once the cover is off, you can get to everything you need fairly easily.
