hi im new to this and need a little help. I softmodded my xbox using sid 5.1 and i backed up my eeprom and the ms dash i think using evox. So now I have a c folder and an ms folder. I have my new hard drive to put in but what is the next step. I have xboxhdm 9.1 but i am not sure what to do. i am a little confused on if i have all the backup stuff I need. Am i missing files that I need to have so i can install the bigger hard drive. I read the tutorials for the auto installer and the soft mod installer. please help me out i am sure this was in the forum before somewhere but i couldn't find it.

Use this tutorial:

I was just in the same position as you are now a few days ago. Just remember to also include the contents of the MS Dash folder in the xboxhdm\linux\C folder when you are building the ISO. This is where I tripped up.

All you need of of your e drive is your Tdata/Udata folders. Save them tyo your pc so you can transfer them to your xbox when your new hdd is installed. I'm pretty sure you need an empty Tdata, Udata, and cache folder on the hdd for everything to work right. I did on mine just to be safe but I'm not 100% if that is actually neccesary.

No, it will automatically create a Udata and a Tdata folder for you if you make them or not. So just make sure you have the MS Dash in the C folder and your eeprom in the eeprom folder.

Don't forget to lock the hard drive once you have got it ready!
