I have used sid 5.0 and Splinter Cell to install the softmoc to my xbox. It worked great but i want xbmc to load when i turn on my xbox. i have seen some comments on changing it for older versions of sid but they refer to a folder called 'dash' or 'dashboard' on the e: drive, which i don't have. i have tried using the shortcuts that i got from the t3ch xbmc and replacing some of the xbe's in various places but i can't get it to work.

I have seen the AID installer, will that do what i want so that xbmc will load as default.

Another thing, is it possible for me to alter the sid 5.0 file to include xbmc so that i can choose to install it when i install the softmod?

i am using a usb flash drive not the memory card so file size isn't really an issue.

Many thanks

It's ok now, tried out AID 4.1 (with the 4.2 patch added on) last night and it installs XBMC through the single click installation menu so that it boots up when you start the xbox. Although, the copy of XBMC that was on there didn't support the MC360 skin so i had to delete all the files from the XBMC folder on the e: drive and replace them with a newer version. Maybe i just didn't apply the 4.2 patch correctly??? Shocked

Never mind all sorted now.
