I've had my Xbox softmodded for years now, and lately after letting it sit I've turned it on to play some halo for a change. I noticed I had no trainers for Halo1 so I went searching for some. I came across a halo 1 trainer and put it into my trainer folder.
I rebooted the xbox so the trainer would be noticed, but once the splash screen ended the xbox now cycles through a reboot repeated after the splash screen has finished and it won't stop doing it.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this? As of now I can't FTP into it and remove the Halo1 trainer (because of the repeated rebooting) I put into it and I believe it might have been a virus or something of the sorts.
Softmod: Installed with SID (no longer has SID on HD so tray open boot up into SID option is not availible)
Running Dash: EvoX
Greatly appreciate any advice offered, thanks!

EDIT: The Xbox still restarts after boot splash, but it will boot up a game if a disk is in the drive.

So I take it no one has any ideas on how to fix this? I plan on trying to use AID to reinstall a new dash as I'm starting to thing the dash on it got corrupted somehow by the trainer I put on it. Though I can't do that until I get my desktop with the burner on it working. What really sucks, I have Mechwarrior (pre-platinum) which I used to mod it years back but since it can not load from memory card (why they did this.. I have no clue) I can't try and redo everything from there.
Any suggestions on what I can try while I wait until I have some cash to fix my desktop PC so I can try AID would be greatly appriciated.

The only option I see for you is to boot up AID. Im not sure what else you can do if you cant get to the dash. _________________

Yeah, that's what I figured, thanks for the response. I'll let everyone know how it turns out whenver I get a disk burned.
