So I've softmodded my xbox using SID 5.1, and no I turn on my xbox, and see a blue screen resembling UnleashX. However, my apps which I have installed through AID, do not appear on this screen, and furthermore, there are actually NO options in the screen. I can go to a certain screen allowing me to backup my EEPROM, and from there I can access the SID menu by going back to the main menu, however, I still do not get any options on the main boot screen. My xbox is version 5690, and when I load XBE files from the SID screen(Using the aformentioned process), other than dashboards, they load up. I would like to know how I would go about fixing this, or if indeed it is even a problem as opposed to a mistake I made. I used the single boot softmod installer, and it seemed as if all steps were taken care of from there. Please render any help you can, including exposing me for the newb I am by showing me a portal to a forum link similar to my own. To be clear, I can use AID 4.01
I believe that SID 5.1 installed a dashboard, though I'm probably wrong. I tried to install both the EvoX and UnleashX onto my HD through AID, to no avail as far as I can see. Do I need to configure the Dashboard to load up after I install it? --- Edit --- Okay, I think I may have overlooked a few options on the AID menu, so I guess I'll see if they work.

Okay, did so, used the softmod installer to install unleashx into my system, same results. I have noticed the dash boots from C:/Sid/Rescue/, so it may be that something isn't working right.
Note 1: When I restored, I restarted using the SID restart function, it messed with my head there for a second, said it needed service, gave my heart a jump.
Note 2: I am using Splinter Cell Platinum edition from the Classic Trilogy(Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, and Splinter Cell pack,) but I assume that because SID loads perfectly, nothing truly wrong with using it.
Also, I clicked on that V2C link on your profile, and came back to the computer an hour later. I thought that my internet radio had been playing the same song for 60 minutes... heh...
Okay, same results, any basic mistakes I could have made? Sid 5.0 seems to be completely automated... do I need to go into AID and install it now? Also, I've used about a gb on my retail HD for apps and such from the AID cd after trying this. I'm thankful that it seems I have a samsung that likes my media.
I could swear I've been using that version... I'll give it a shot and repost tomorrow. --- Edit --- I can't seem to find it on any torrents, are you sure it isn't 5.01 your referring to?
Yes, it has been. At this point I"m still no sure if I haven't just made some random mistake. This is the image I get on my screen, excluding the on screen options. Basicly it's a blank version of this(No launch dvd, applications, ect. options.)
This is after I have installed the softmod (Single Boot) with Sid 5.01, so I'm kind of lost on this. I've tried reinstalling the dashboard with AID 4.01 many times, along with various applications.
Ah, right, but I don't recieve any options on screen. No file manager, no dvd launcher, no applications listing. It's a blank version of that exact screen, the only things besides the background present on my xbox are the informational deals, such as how much space I have on my hd's.
