ok i got another problem after i got the xbox original ms dash working i relized i cannot get it to boot if i shut the xecuter 3 ce modchip off at the x3 dashbaord it will not boot the ms dashboard i just restored but if the chip is on it will go to the ms dash . I need to know is this becuase i have a different hard drive i got a 25 or a 30 gig in it now instead of the orginal 8 that came with the stock xbox. Second question now when i click on xbox live it sends me to a error code screen were it tells me error 21 is that also to do with the hard drive. I need to know is it possible to reformat the bigger hard drive to work with xbox live and how do i shut the chip off so the xbox works as if it were never thier so if i get live to work it doesnt ban me.

i apoligize for the double post disregard my question it no longer matter. I just learned that micorsoft is banning every modded xbox that come on xbox live they have a program that updates live on your xbox it also searches to see if the xbox has been "Tampered with or modded in any way mod chip soft mods hard drive upgrades anything" It seems if your xbox is completely stock the update sees it send your ip or serial to the network so every time you try to log on it will not allow it so the topic i started can be deleted and again srry for the double post. DAMN MICOROSOFT TO HELL

its fully within microsoft's right to ban modded xboxes and its in the live TOS agreement. They font want people to play pirated games on live, and they dont want people to be able to cheat on live with trainers or hacks. If you really want to play on live, just get another xbox. _________________

the original xboxes are still pretty exensive all the ones ive been finding are being sold as a set with controllers and game still runny at about 150 up to 300 dollars getting a new 1 is out of the question. Ill wait till the xecuter guys develop the program ive been hearing about that makes the update that checks the xbox to see if its stock make the update think that still my hard drive is bigger so unless thiers a way to make live work with a newer bigger hard drive i think ill just wait till i can afford a 360
