Basicly I'm trying to make movies of some of the team races I'min for forza on xlink kai. Right now I have 2 xboxes, both with forza on my router, Theres a way to get a chase cam on the second xbox through a hidden option in forza. What I want to do is save the chasecam on my xbox in a movie format (.avi, .mpeg something like that). Someone I race with now uses this and a video capture card to save the movies. He told me about some guys that used to do this and save it to the xbox hdd directly. I was wondering how I could go bout doing this. If anyone has some insight, let me know. _________________

The only way I know is from using a vid card on a pc.

To record your fantastic Halo warthog trick (or whatever), you will need a video capture card in your PC. You can then either play your Xbox game directly on your computer monitor through your video capture card (and record as you play) or you can record your Xbox game to a VCR tape and then transfer the video into your PC.
That was from another xbox site for people who like to be fancy and show off mods etc.

What you're looking for is a program like Fraps. Fraps is for the PC though, but its a piece of software which is turning on by pressing a certain button / buttons and will record the file to the HDD.
All you need to find, is a program that does the same, but for Xbox. I don't know whether Fraps is available for Xbox or not.
Yea, all I got on my first sweep through. I think this guy bridged his Xbox to his PC from the view. But if you can compile the MythTV, I think thats your bet. HOWEVER, it only works for GNU/Linux, thats my warning, have fun.
