ok heres the thing my xbox is soft modded with the splintercell exploit and i was brainstormin and learing new things and when i shut my xbox off and booted it back up i got this message sayin your xbox requires servie repair and it will not boot any games and it wont even boot my rescue disc that was made at the beging of the soft mod installation
how do i fix this problem and fix the xbox or am i in nice terms screwed and have to buy a new one plz respond asap and ne help will be helpful thanks for everything in advance

the thing is is there is not one see what happened is i was copyin rb63 to hd and it froze so i rebooted system and got this msg i know i had pnlenty of space cus file was 3.4 g and i had 4.6 g available

Rainbow Six: 3. And thats something new, no error message eh? Just, "You need service, we beat you!" kind of thing? If you see one in the corner let us know, my advice is to hook the xbox hdd to your comp and play with it there to see what you can repair.

Error codes are in top left or right corner(cant remember which one). If you tell us the code we can tell you how to fix it. _________________

well im just gonna connect hd to my comp and boot some progam called xboxhdm it should fix it i hope but my other problem is no one will tell me how to get online with the xbox with it modded cus i play online alot
i know..but I don't want to lose all my stuff in the E Drive..sepcally my Xbox save games:/

ok probably with xbox is the bios to let yall know there is not a way ro fix it that ifound so far how i found this is i bought a used xbox hooked the hard drive up and i get an error numner 6 which iseprom failure and put the one from the xbox in the old one and it still booted up to no error number just servie message and to the guy that said to have dual boot and ms dash on seprate partition to get online plx explain that for me

error code 6 is not an eeprom problem error 6 means the you con not unlock the hdd.So someone locked the hdd.
