i did it once and it worked but any time i try it nowadays it tell me theres no drive in the primary master although drive s been detected by the bios other times the true size of the retail fails to show up the size increases to 16 gig instead of 8 gig

Means you need to turn auto-detect HDD on your comp off, or it will say drive is frozen...also why you u wanna unlock your HDD? _________________
