I have modded 3 xboxes recently.. 2 of them had the following error:
When "Programs" was clicked in the XBMC menu, the screen would go black. You could hit B twice to get back to the home screen... and things would work great from then on out. However, how do I get past the black screen

Hmm it might be missing a file, make sure you have all of the files onto your xbox _________________

Try changing the skin to something like MC360 if you have it on there and see if it works.
