I'd only call M$ as a last resort. Did you try it later to see if it would work? _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

Yeah, it must be a xbl server issue as I successfully recovered my account after jumping on with my modded machine.
Try again later.

Yes, you can play games from the HDD on XBC. I'm not certain but I believe it will only work with system link games. I think the software run on your PC tricks your Xbox into thinking it's just part of a big ole LAN. _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

Your right Xboxster, XBC only supports System Link games.

Yeah, but most XBL games also have System Link support. I think there are a ton of games. You can go to XBC and I believe they have a list.
My Linksys has worked on XBL no problems....I am going to be getting rid of it as I just grabbed up a wireless MS MN-700

Is that accurate? I didn't get the impression that it was. My son and I usually system link the games that can, and it SEEMS (notice: no scientific study done!) that there aren't many new System Link games out there. I think SW Battlefront is.
OK, I did a 'kinda' scientific survey....
Here are the 10 newest Xbox releases carried by Gamefly that they list as XBL-enabled and whether they support system-link. I'm not saying Gamefly is always correct, but at least it's easy enough to survey their site:
Mortal Kombat: Deception NO
ESPN NBA 2K5 NO
Colin McRae Rally 2005 YES
NBA Live 2005 NO
NHL 2005 NO
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 NO
Star Wars Battlefront YES
Vietcong: Purple Haze NO
Guilty Gear X2 Reload NO
Burnout 3: Takedown NO

So all of these titles are XBL capabel??
Wow, mortal kombat on XBL...sweet!
To be honest, I haven't looked at many of the new games to see if they were System Link enabled. I have a lot of the older games like Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six 3..
I am sure those games are both XBL and SL enabled as I have done both with them. Looks like MS wants to go the subscription route...

I think you hit the nail on the head!
I think the percentage of system link games would have been MUCH higher if XBL had not come along! PAY! PAY! PAY! _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room

Actually, when you go look at the list of XBL games there seems to be a lot, but a percentage of them are just content download enabled..which is cool and gives replay value to the game, but doesn't do squat for multi-player action..

There are 55 System Link and 81 XBL Online Play games. There are 109 XBL games, but 28 of them are just XBL Enhanced not multiplayer. XBL still looks like it has the masses with 26 more games than System Link. I am sure the phasing out has only begun! _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter
