Hi, installing larger hard drive using this tute...http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-153.html .....however, as i don't have a desktop pc, i'm using an ide-usb cable to hook up hard drive to laptop. when i run the disk with linux on, i get as far as 'xboxhd' but pc does not recognise hard drive...i've tried jumper on all available slots, but still no joy.
any idea? apologies for the vagueness of this topic!

Ive never heard of it working on a laptop...think you will need a desktop. If you have it done already then ignore this post. _________________
