I recently attempted to update the version of xbmc on my modded xbox, and all of the files were put onto the xbox except one, and then it froze and restarted itself. the file that didn't get copied was the default.xbe.
Now xbmc dashboard doesn't load. Sometimes I turn it on and it tells me there is an error code 7. Other times it gets to the xbmc logo and just stalls. Either way, it doesn't reach a point to which I can ftp and get the last file through.

So now I have a large hard drive full of stuff that I can't connect to.
Is there some way to connect to the hard drive through any means and copy that last file over?

get a copy of aid 3.10 or 4, burn it to dvd-r and boot off the disk, reformat C: and then install XBMC and then MSdash... assuming your mod boots off the C: by default it does.. unless you changed it..

there's no way to just boot an ftp program off a disc without reformatting?

Ya your going to need to use a disk, use unleashx or some other dash disk to start it into a FTP dash, then FTP all the files over.
