hi

i am having some trouble with chimp

when cloning the xbox's stock drive to a new one, one of two things happens.

it will either get all the way up to cloning 490 in and out, then the video will cut out and the xbox wont display anything OR it will stop at about 290 and not go any further.

this is during the initial c drive clone, beofere i can go any further!

i have a softmodded 1.1 xbox with unleashx as the dash and am attempting to use chimp 2.6

have tried telnetting in but this wont connect

any help is gratefully appreicated

If you're having problems with chimp, you can allways try xboxhdm 1.9 (availible in the downloads section). Tutorial here --> http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-153.html

does the fact that the stock hd has been on live make a difference?

No, doesn't make any difference if the box has been on live, as your only cloning the file structure.

I have a Chimp tutorial under my sig, check that see if it helps.

i have officially binned it off - gonna put the hd in my pc and stream video from there.
