Ok, I was loading some apps on my freind's xbox last night and I ran inot something strange. Its a v1.1 xbox thats been softmodded. No matter how long its tuned off, it will still go straight to the unleash x dash when powered on. If its booted p with the drive open, it allways goes to the SID screen. I softmodded it for him a few months back, and he put in a 300gig hdd. Apperantly, when he put in the hdd, he couldnt figure out how to get the whole thing to show up. So trying to get everything to show up, he started messing with the bios. In the apps folder theres something called Phoenix Bios Loader. I'm kind of wondering what this is and what he did to the box. _________________

Sounds to me like when he made the new drive he used an older softmod and some of the older ones boot to the SID screen when you boot with the eject button try resoftmodding it and se if that fixes it.

That would make sense, except from what hes telling me, he made his the exact same way I did with xdhdm. I'll try it out though and see what happens. _________________

Ya use i use SID 4 for softmodding but i guess SID 5.01 would work good. Just take off the old and put on new ones. _________________
