i have a solderless xecuter 3 chip which has been working fine for the past year or so. i moved my xbox and had to unplug it. when i plugged it back in , i could not get the blue light to work. it would only boot red. i took it apart to check it and when i put it back together, it seems like it tries to restart a few times then stays on with red light but nothing on the tv....any ideas.

re-open it, and see if the D0 wire is still in its hole. then if that was in place, try to loosen the main screw and reposition and make sure its snug against the board, then snug the screw back down. _________________ (2) XBOX v1.4:

i will give it another try. when i put in the solderless piece(xapter) and powered up i got 3 blue lights plus the red light flashed. from what i understand that is exactly what was supposed to happen.
ihave a 1.0 board. do you know of any pics confirming which spot the D0 pin goes in. i think it is in the correct one but i want to make sure.

if you havent moved it from the original state you should be good. my red light stays on so then its your D0 point.. ill look around for some pics dont have them on this computer..
