i can't find a place to upload or select an avatar...not new to forums in general...just this one lol....and how do i get a pic as part of my signature?? plz help lol

Click on members at the top of the page. You'll see "my account". In that menu you'll find "my profile". That's where it all happens.
In the "signature" field, to insert an picture, use "[ img ]url address of your file here[ /img ]". _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

dude i got my avatar and im having the same prob...im using photobucket to host my image and ive resized it to a really small size and i still get nuttin but text

To give you an idea of size / dimensions, mine is currently 400x150 and 200Kb in size.
