Hi,
I've already used sid4.5 and it went smoothly so I tried installing SID5 on my new xbox.
I deleted any save game prior to installation and did all the steps (backup eeprom, backup ms).
Then the installer said "please remove any DVD and reboot".
So I clicked "Shutdown".
But now the xbox always produces the "Error21".
Apparently it can still load games because it will load "Agent under fire" if inserted but any other operation causes the error 21.
I tried re-loading the exploit by loading the save game but it just restarts the game...
I also tried reloading the exploit from the game then removing the dvd but it produced a black screen.
Can somebody help me please!!!

Well I finally fixed it myself...
I loaded the exploit from the memory card instead of the hard drive and the installer's final step appeared!
But then my xbox looked unmodded so I reloaded SID5, removed the softmod and installed SID4.5 with no problems.

A few of us have had the same issue. I was able to get to the MS Dash and load games and actually used the AID4 disc to reformat and reset to retail. From the AID4 forum section it looks like SID5 is a problem on the disc as well which I also encountered. I'll wait on 5 until a fix is posted before trying again.
