whats links? have you tried gentoox?
google search gentoox or shallax & you`ll be looking at the best linux distro for xbox full stop, not only is it good but gentoox has it`s own forums & is constantly being maintained & updated, I`m even a member!
all i have tried is DSL (damn small linux) and i cant get it to fit on my tv correctly. is there a linux os that can just be ran as an app (like dsl) that is useful? i dont want one that takes your whole machine, but wondering if there was one that could be put on as an app. i like dsl, but the display is all wacky when i install it, so i just took it off. i do use the component cables though, and that might be the problem.
who knows, any ideas and let me know.

well, i was shooting more for like, ubuntu linux instead......i know J8994 may know how to do this, but we dont talk too much anymore as hes been busy.

i run xdsl on a small portable tv, i found if i used a third party (non microsoft) controller it would cause the screen resolution to be way out ?? ... however if i plug in a USB keyboard & mouse, upon booting xdsl it gave me 4 different screen resolution options.

i use a microsoft controller, still acts weird...it just stretches the screen out of the tv.
