Has any one ever added LED lights to a stock xbox fan ? there seems to be some room for about 6-7 LEDs as long as I use 3mm... I have a spare fan and lights. also does any one know the voltage of the fan.

id suggest just buying an 80mm led fan from your computer parts store (usually 10 - 15$) and just look for a tutorial on making it fit

stock its 7volts, but with the mod, putting the black wire and grounding it to shielding makes it 12V.. or if you turn it up in he control panel.. also you could just test it with a volt meter at certain fan percentages in the control section of your dashboard. _________________ (2) XBOX v1.4:

I did this mod, bought a 12v fan, w/LEDS and it had 3 wires. I cut one(Yellow) so that left me with my neg and pos. And did all my case modding, plugged it in, and it works fine !!! Studman: do I have to ground it to the shielding ? ( I did not) now I am going in to some OCD attacks....am I good with just plugging it in ? Anyone ?
What size fan do you use for a slim case ?

not sure on the slim case size. but your fine just plugging it in.. it just turn its automatically to 12V when you ground it to the shielding.. but you can just turn it to 100% in your dashboard and it will do the same thing.. also if you can't take the noise from the fan, turn the the volume of the tv or stereo, LOL _________________ (2) XBOX v1.4:
