Hello, I am brand new to the scene and I would like to first thank everyone who contributes to this forum, it is an incredibly informative site.
My question is which Softmod method is most popular and why? I have used the Ndure installer V1.0 for MA and it worked just fine. I was also successful in installing XBMC. However I have noticed quite a bit of talk about AID. Would I benefit from re-modding my Xbox using the AID?

Well AID is an installer disk. So you can use it to update your dash and apps, but as for the best softmod I would have to say SID 4.5 is the best. You can use it with Mech as well. But if you are already modded then I would just get AID and just use it to update.

i think Burner6999 said it all mate Sid 4.5 is a great way to softmod....
and Aid 3.1 is the best way to update dashes, apps, ect... _________________
