Well i've got 2 xbox hd's (dont ask why =) ) and just one xbox. With hd 1 i get an error 16 (hd 1 is the original drive from that xbox which was softmodded) and with hd 2 i gat an error 5 because i messed up my other xbox and accidently unlocked it. I tried doing hotswap with hd 1 it booted up fine but xboxhdm then told me it wasnt although i did everything from the hotswap tut. Well now i dont know what to do anymore. Please help me.

Since I am guessing you are only softmodded. My advice to you is to get a chip and if you dont know how to solder a solderless adapter. What happens when you try a hotswap?
Ok got it. It worked by hotswapping the problem was that i hadnt connected the Audio/video cable to my television (didnt know it doesnt boot right then)
