Cos i think that people look for diffrent things when thay buy games.
Take Fifa And PES some people think that PES is better, But in the last 4 years thay havent done nothing to Better the game in anyway what so ever, but fifa Have made vast improvment's and now Fifa 07 is much better than PES 6...IMO
But i bet there will be alot that would not agree with me... _________________

I voted for almost never, i always just rent first... but i also get all my rents for games free, my sister is the manager at family video, so its nothing to rent, to try them out.

I chose never cause just because someone else thinks it sucks doesnt mean I will. Take superman Returns for example it got bad reviews but I thought it was an ok game.

exactly....i liked superman returns....but it got a crap review....same with DBZ sagas....i think ign gave it a 4.....but i love the game..... _________________

ah! mhow can you say that! i love fifa 07 on xbox, the 360 version i just cant play i like pro 5, pro 6 much better, pro 4 is slower than pro 5, pro 6 has graphical superiority and is pure gameplay its more like watching a real match!!! sorry i was all fifa 07 till i got stuck into pro 6 once you have the vision....

See this is my point we all look for diffrent thing in games, and i do like pes but for me i think Fifa 07 is much more a compleat game all round.... (and the game play is right there with pes... _________________

Ok, here's how I see the Reviews Section going.
I want it to offer factual evidence. For example, listing controls, graphics, sound etc. Facts and figures from the developer along with their specs.
My aim is to offer as unbiased opinion as possible (I realise that of course the review will take the tone of the person writing it). I'm currently trying to draw up a guidline/checklist of things to look for and follow when writing the review to make it as broad and unbiased as possible.
The general feel from the results show that its almost a 50 / 50 split between people using it for games they're interested in and people who don't use it at all. My aim is to get those who don't use it at all, to begin to use it. I have a number of ideas that I'm pondering, including video/voice reviews and gameplay footage. Hobbs is already working on a new look for the section and the next couple of weeks/months I will be painstakingly going through the reviews one by one to bring them up to scratch.
Ideas and feedback on any of the things listed here would be great.

It would be good to see some other members put their reviews in as well as your own.. The more the merrier lol..
I have been doing alot of work on the reviews area on 360-hq and its just about ready to port over to xboxhq so you guys can write the reviews easier and read them.
The new reviews area will have a section to score different parts of the games out of 10. For example: gameplay, graphics, sound, ...
keep up the good work FC.. As long as you enjoy it i can guarantee you people will be reading it.. You only need to browse the other reviews we have and you can see they received plenty of traffic.. (well enough to warrant writing them thats for sure).
