Ok i kno this is a xbox forum but i have a question envolin a ps3 hd swap to a xbox

I have a 60g Ps3 and im plannin on upgrading the hd to a 120g

so i was wondering if the 60g hd comin out of the ps3 would work with the xbox?

Would i be able to use the Ps3 hd in the xbox?

so i can basically kill 2 birds with one stone . I buy the bigger hd for the ps3 and then i use the 60g from the ps3 in the xbox,

The HDD in a PS3 is a 2.5" drive, as opposed to the normal 3.5" drives found in PC's and Xbox's.

If the drive still has a normal IDE connection, then yes, you'll be able to use it (although securing it inside the Xbox will be tricky as it won't fit the holder). Otherwise, you'll need to use adapters to get the drive to work.

Hope this helps.

it will work with a adapter, goto your local pc shop, and ask for a 3.5 - 2.5 ide adapter, it will convert the laptop hdd to the 3.5 version, now if it is a sata, thats gonna need diff adapter, and i can remeber the one i used.

but yeah it is possible
