I know but it was the same with XP when it came out......
And i've been using Vista RC1 for a long wile now it runs all the programs that i'm using at the moment so i would say the Vista RTM should work better....
And i will still have this old comp to fall back on for programs that will not work on vista.....
I just love Vista for me it's great and is only going to get better..... _________________

I know this thread hasnt been added to for a while, but I've decided on the motherbard and chipset. and I was thinking of cases. I know its been done before but what if I buy a cheapo case, and take out the main rack for the Hdd's and the mount for the motherboard, and then make a case of lego's and then put the rack and motherbaord mount in there... I could also incorporate my old lego Mindstorm in there too somehow..

pc in a toaster ehh... i bet the pc would get hott enough to make toast, LOL now i just have to figure out how many fricken lego's it would take, a 2x6 block costs $.25, a 2x4 is $.15. right now im using the "lego designer" LOL i feel like a kid again... and im only 19!
Edit: so far i've got about 500 bricks and there the $.25 one's and im about half built... this could cost way more then I ever thought, LOL maybe ill be checking garage sales, but that wouldnt work til' next summer

also heres something to, should i use a 2x8 as my main brick or a 1x12, its only half as thick and a little longer for the same price? but also with it being only 1 "circle" thick? (dont really know how you measure width with a lego) instead of 2, wont it not keep as much heat in? also this might be a gift from my family for graduation, of boot camp;) try to get everyone to pitch in for the "lego" dream of mine. now i wanna see a lego XBOX!!
P.S. anyone know the dimension of a 2x8 lego, LOL for scale purposes?

might have to, I went to the lego website and they have a "designer" program, and you can build models, well i measured some lego's that i had, and tried to make a perfect scale model.. it will cost about $167.70, but you also would have to buy extra parts.. im not saying you can't make it cheaper but thats with the peices I used... I also make a logo on the side with colored 1x1 blocks, its pretty sweet. Mega blocks would be ALOT cheaper, LOL. i can send someone my design but they have to have the "lego designer" to see it.. _________________ (2) XBOX v1.4:

I myself have a UV Blue clear acrylic case, with 3 x UV cathode tubes. The thing looks amazing. Couple that with the fact that all other bits (such as UV dye in the water of the liquid cooling, fans, mem and slot covers) are all UV reactive, it looks absolutely incredible.
For those of you wishing you check it out, this was my exact purchase. The pics don't really show it when the UV is in full swing! I'll try and take some pics at some point.

I saw someone once use different color UV reactive paint markers and mark a different color dot all over the bottom of there video card, on the solder "dots" it looked really sweet with the UV light on.. _________________ (2) XBOX v1.4:
