yeah. All the gamesaves should be on your E drive. So if you wish to format the drive I would back those up. Unless you want them to go with everything else you have in there. And like he said, the softmod is also on the E drive. If your like me then you have the Apps, Dashboard, Emus, Games, Shadowc, TDATA, and UDATA0 on it. So my E drive holds the softmod. I don't know if its like that for everyone though, cause I only have the retail hdd.

Get a copy of AID and install XBMC. The config files are already set up for it. _________________

well i had a prob like that a few weeks ago when i was messing about with a Maxtor 80 gig HDD so what i did was with the Aid 3.1 disk was (and don't turn off your Xbox till you are finnished)
1. I formated the hole drive.
2. Install MS dash (5960) to C drive.
3. Backup MS dash using Aid disk.
4. Backup eeprom.
5. Install Sid 4.5 with XBMC as my dash using "one click install"
Sorted (like a peanut)
but you will loose everything on your HDD...... But all your prob's have gone as well... _________________

Try to cold boot AID. Open the Xbox drive, put AID in then turn the Xbox off. Wait a few seconds and then turn it back on. If you have a chip it should boot AID.

if you got a 250GB HDD why are you putting apps, etc on E drive. Dump it all on F instead and dont go filling up the E drive or you'll get problems
