ok got my bios installed, and I am using xenium OS v2.3.1. Does AID 3.10 (if the disc can be read) Auto load or do I have to selct something off the menu to get it load ? I have gone over the spice guide and the 3.10 manual and cant find anything that tells me. And I dont want to do anything till I know for sure. Thanks

well got my xbmc to where I can look and play around a bit but if I cold boot w/out the disc goes right back to my xenium screen thenif I select my new bios instead of the retail it get error screen, In short how do I get xbmc to load on start up ? but so far xbmc is way cool, love it , I thought it would look like the newer media center on my PC with XP. guess you have to find it. will do more friday.

Ok slow down there buddy. first thing first. If you only installed the dash, thats all you're going to see. You need to install all your apps so that you can access them. Then you can fully use the xbox

there is a file called x2config.ini that comes with the bios image. this needs to be configured then loaded to the root of the xbox E drive. Without this the bios will only boot the std M$ dash

i am really not sure what paths I should use, these are preset, are they ok to use ? (In photo below) I will be using xbmc for my dash. also now if I am right I re-flash my chip with this new BIN file, now how do I launch it for the bios file and put the “x2config.ini” file on the root of Xbox E drive? Embarassed

Sorry photo sucks : this is what it is (in order)
C avalaunch.xbe
C xbmc.xbc
C unleashx.xbc
C xbmc.xbc
C xboxdash.xbc

if you put ur XBMC files on F:\APPS\XBMC then

C xbmc.xbe

is not going to be valid is it. If you install unleashx dash to C drive then that file will be ok.

you launch the bios through the Xenium launch menu

use FTP or run AID and use the built in file manager to copy the file from a disc, etc (burn a disc that includes the config file, then you can copy it over)
