My system is set up with falsh xp and hooked up to my PC via ethernet cable and a router. Am i correct that you need crossover cable to access internet thru the xbox?

well you can use a crossover cable or a router/hub ummm u also need to set ur xbox ip to be the same and ur pc. _________________

Im not thread stealing or anything but Do you have to have a wireless roputer or could you you a simple cable modem?

I have my xbox hooked up to a hub with my PC. When I start XBMC and check settings, it says xbox is connected but no DNS is available. What do I need to do?

ok ive fixed it...seemed that i had to free memory blocks....lol
but when i turned my xbox on, before the dahsboard came up i pressed random buttons and this other dahsboard came up, think it was EEprom this happened a couple of times and i was wondering what buttons do you really have to press for EEprom to come up?

press randow buttons on start-up? do you have a chip? your EEprom has nothing to do with the boot-up of the xbox.. what mod do you have installed?

Well i kno the mod is called Excuter or evolution x, anywho yeh thats tru, i did press random buttons but i bet they were certain buttons and this new greyish dashboard comes up, where you can change video regions and stuff like that.

The mod is called Xecuter _ _ _ and does it come to the Xecuter screen then when you push buttons it goes to the evolutionX screen??

yeh, its all grey looking, i kno im pressing certain buttons because it happens wen i jsut press random buttons. oh yeh its executer yeh.

If you press and hold the white button it opens your X3configlive screen which will give you access to many of your configurable system settings.

i think hes goin to the configlive screen then he gets access to his dashboard, theres a setting on the live where it says skip live and go right to dashboard...
