i got a xenium ice modchip, evo bios and dash and when i try to go on xbox live, it says that it cant connect because of hardware or software mods. if anyone knows how to fix it that wuld be sick

Its sounds like you have been a victim of Bill Gates. Your Box has been banned by Live. You have to change your eprom coding. Goodluck, i've never had to change my eprom , but that is your only option. Oh that or don't use xbox live. _________________ Xecuter2.3bPro(Best Chip)

I'm a little shocked that you got banned with a Xenium. Don't you have two different ways to boot your machine??
When your OS Loads up you should have a choice of;
Retail Kernel
name of hacked bios
When you select Retail Kernel, you can then login to xbox live.
If you select your hacked bios, then your modchip is enabled. It sounds to me like you tried going on xbox while your chip was enabled. That blows man. You are going to need some eeprom work, and a new gamertag.
Your current gamertag is banned for good. You should be able to successfully change your eeprom, but it's not quick work.
You could always download Xbox Connect and use that. Doesn't matter if your chip is on or now...and it's free!
If you do get your machine back on live here's the easiest way to guarantee you will never accidently jump on xbox live with chip enabled. Always disco your network cable from your machine until you want to go on Live. That way it cant connect.

So if you log on to someone else's Xbox (I've never done this before) and don't know it's modded, you could be banned? That would be WAY harsh!

No, but what I am envisioning is your gamertag is attached to your account and I would imagine your account is flagged.
Like I said, this is what I have heard. I personally don't know anyone who has got banned and then changed eeprom and got back on. So, if anyone can let us know if gamertag is banned too it would be appreciated.
