HELP!!!!!!
Everything works except the dern weather feature....
It always says "Busy" The internet works, the SMB shares work, most of the scripts work.
The weather will not work.
Any ideas? _________________ Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

I cant really remember how I got it to work before when I had that problem, I played around with the network settings to get it to work. Just remember what settings were where before playing with them. _________________

I wanted to post how I finally got everything working.
I was using Sygate personal firewall. I went into options and unchecked "Driver level security"
Now everything works great, and I finally can see the weather and RSS feeds.
Maybe this will help others with the same problem.

Well I have shut off all my firewalls to see if that would get the weather to load and change locations but all it will do is search for the city (tried Madison, Milwaukee, & Chicago) but wont update it. I also went into the weather settings and already changed it to USA from Canada. I'm getting the same thing always says busy- then it will finally pull up the default cities but no info for them. Any ideas to what network settings I should play with (gateway, subnet, ect) - as I already set them to manual to get my box talking to my puter and I can ftp things to it. Any help is appreciated

If you want to narrow down where the problem is, set xbmc to the appropriate settings and directly connect it to your broadband modem so its getting an IP directly from your ISP. If it works then then its definitely something on your PC rather than a xbox configuration _________________

Yes that is exactly what he is saying. Hook your xbox directly to your modem, and set your xbox network ip settings to DHCP. If it works then it is your PC/router causing the issue. _________________ Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.
