Hi there. Any one no how to stop the dvd drive being looked for when starting xbox up and getting the error code. so the xbox can run without the dvd drive?

You can edit the bios using xbtool to not check for the dvd drive. But I think most of the X2 bios are set up that way anyway

Ohok. im installing a DUOx2 chip into the xbox and going to have no dvd drive tryed xbox unchipped but it asks for drvie so if its chipped it mite not ask for it? or will i have to still edit the bios?

yes edit the bios that you are flashing to the chip using xbtool.

pretty much edit the bios and save the bios then burn it to a cd and then flash it to your chip

There should be a tutorial on the website that supports your chip but there might be one here for the duox2.

Network:get the IP your xbox gives you, open the bios, flash, wait for your xbox to power down, and there you have it.
