THe only problem is my PSone hasn't got the port at the back for a cartridge, that's why I'm looking into CDs.
Concerning the MP3 player, even if you could email it to me, that would be appreciated very much.

Is your machine a ps1 or a Psx9002 which also didn't have a port at the back but can have the card installed internaly?

I've got an internal vcd player for the 9002 but it needs to be installed internally. It's a card that needs to be soldered onto the mother board like a modchip.

That's very interesting, and it's something I didn't know exsisted. I might look into getting one in the future. Can I get a URL with some more info if you've got one handy?

I live in Newcaslte, NSW. I'm not 100% sure on when I want to mod my PSX with this, but I definately want to look into it, especially the availability and price of the chips.

The 9002 cards are no longer manufactured. I've got one left which I can put away for you if you are interested. The external versions are still available but wont fit in your Psx. The card is only a cheat and vcd player, not Mp3. I have external adaptor for the earlier version Psx which allows you to play Mp3.
If for whatever reason you want to play Mp3 on your Psx, I can swap the mother board for you with one that has the port at the back.

Won't work in a Ps1. It's only made for the 9002 model Psx, and it doesn't conflict with the modchip.

Quick question, how much would you want for it, and do you know if it only plays your standard vcds, or it will play non-compliant stuff also.
