He guys, I have a quick question. I just installed this 120gig drive that already had the evoX dash on it (version 3935 i think) but the thing is before I installed this drive I had the orignal drive with the 1.3HQ installer used on it. The old 8 gig drive had a competely diffrent setup in EvoX and I liked it a lot more than this EvoX. Is it possible to use the 1.3 installer again and write over the Ev0X with a newer one and all the other progs like the DVD2Xbox (the version on the installer are newer than what came on my drive)? I figure since the Box is like a computer i can just overwrite them and the updated version would take over???

You can change anything on xbox/ Thats why WE do What WE do... (HE_HE_). The easiest way to do this change is with an AUTOINSTALLER DISK.(autohq) You first should back up your hard drive(via an FTP) before changing your evox dash.(you just never know were you might have went wrong). After a back up you will then insatll your trusty auto installer cd. Evox 1.3 is still part of the menu items. Watch were it asks for where you want your applications to be stored as this is what I think you dislike about 3935.

Yes any info that you have on the drive will be lost, that is why you need to back it up. Your bios will not change unless you specifically change it, & if you are going to be putting a 120 gig on your box then depending on what bios youj have you might have to change it.(xecuter 4983.67 bios), supports a large hard drive.

Remember that when you change your dashboard version, watch where you put everything. It will ask if you want to copy everything to C:/, F:/,E:/, G:/ etc........ Have fun thats what is all about.
