Heyas, sorta new here. This is going to sound REALLY noobish, but I just downloaded a file, and it is split up into about 40 different files.. Usually they are in .rar format, but this file was all just numbered .001, .002, .003.
I tried to use HJoin, but Im not sure if this is the right program. Both Winace and Winzip are not working either though. Does anyone know what to use?

Hi Geraine,
You need a copy of WinRar.
One you have one follow these steps:
1) open winrar
2) browes to the .001 file.
3) double click it
4) you should now see an image file
5) Click extract at the top and extract it to the folder of your choice.
Files are now uncompressed. Extracting one, extracts them all

Dude, don't worry. I have done the exact same thing!!
I remember my first post ever..can't remember what site it was. I asked what to do with a .rar file!! I had always dealt with .zip files only.
Luckily, I wasn't razzed to badly..HA
