I am trying to restore my xbox to its original condition before ever softmodding it. I made the backup of MS Dash & Eeprom from the beginning. I uninstalled the softmod, then did a "Restore C:" from E:\Backup\.
Now everytime i try to go into MS Dash, it gives me a network configuration prompt & wont allow me into the original MS Dash. Is there anything else i have to do recover my xbox to put it in its original state.
BTW - I had already created a live account before softmodding.

ok can you boot the game used to softmod, if not and you have the eeprom backup use xbhdm to rebuild the hdd _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com

I can boot any game rite now (including Mechassualt) which i used to softmod. What is xbhdm?? Also, where is the eeprom backup located??

the eeprom was in the same folder were the MS backup was stored, if you dont have the eerpom backuped, then you will need to hotswap _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com

WTF, all i had to do was use the gamesave and use "restore MS Dash" from there. I been trying to do the backup from the AID3 cd. It worked no problem. Thanx for your help.
One more thing, is there any app or dashboard to allow me to few & stream media files (mp3, divx, avi) from shared folders on a pc or on my network hard-drive??
I seen this "2-pane file explorer" lookin app i guess, on dl.tv episode 106. It has has a blue background.
