I have XBMC with the krazy ndure exploit also, and I would like to know how I can find out what dvd drive I have. I went into settings and couldn't see it there.

Okay, on this xbmc dash, I don't have system info. I have my programs, my pics, my vids, my music, weather, settings, my files. When I go to settings, it has my videos etc, and then I go to system, all it spindown time, immediate hd spindown fanspeed overide and all that stuff, and then autorun, cache, front led, lcd, audio hardware and master lock. I've checked everywhere. Do I need to go back to unleash x dash to see the info, cause I don't remember how to do that?

I don't know what else to tell you, but I don't have that on my xbmc dashboard. I have my programs, my pics, my vids, my music, weather, settings and my files. and in settings, it shows system, but not the dvd drive info and what type it is. Sorry.... I have krazy ndures exploit. How do I get out of xbmc dash to check?

Does it look more like the attached image? if it does, then it won't have that information and you have 2 options: switch your skin in the appearance section to mc360, where it will look more like what I posted above. If not and you want to boot unleashx, go the "my files" section, navigate to where you have unleashx installed, and run the default.xbe file

the project mayhem skin still tells you your system info...ive done it numerous times....go to the shutdown icon at bottom of screen....clcick it...you'll get a cpl options one of them is system info....its an i icon with blue line under it....click it _________________

yes! that's what my xbmc image looks like. what is mc360, and how do I get it and make it my dash? Is it a xbmc skin? I will try to go to the file section and find the unleashx file. Once I run it, I can go back to the xbmc dashboard? Can I install this mc360 dash easy? Can you tell me how to install it, without messing with my other stuff?

Its a XBMC skin, not a dashboard. You may already have it installed, check your appearance section. If not you can get it here, but thats not real current. You will find the skin with AID3.10 though, and a really recent version _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

How easy is it to use the Aid 3 installer? Do I burn it to a dvd or cd and then put it in the xbox and run it? Can it be use with the xbmc that i have now without doing anything special to it? I will check if I have that dash mc360, but I don't think so, because I've checked all the files on my xbox and I don't remember seeing anything that looks like that. Is it worth it to load this skin?

I am getting to know my XBMC more and more everyday! Well, I found out how to change to the mc360 and I like the XBMC look better, probably because I got used to it and also because I already see that look on my xbox 360, so it's nice to have the change. Oh btw, when I did go into the mc360 look, it allowed me to see what kind of drive I have(which is the samsung, darn) and also that I have xbox version 1.2/1.3 and that my HDD is locked. What are the advantages of unlocking my HDD? And if I chose to unlock it, would I have to start all over with what I have already?

Samsungs are one of the better drives. It will read almost anything you load in it.
The hdd has to be locked to the motherboard in order for the xbox to work. Only chipped boxes can run a hdd that is not locked. As far as functionality, there's no difference. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS
