I was wondering what the difference between a softmod and a hard mod are.
If anyone could either softmod or hardmod my xbox that would be great.

The point of any mod is to let you play homebrew software, backup games, etc.
A softmod does this software, and easier to do and cheaper, but less reliable and does not have the extra functionality that a chip does. A chip is more expensive and harder to install.
Both are great, and if you don't plan on doing a lot of modding, a softmod may be the way to go. If you want to go hardcore on it, do a chip.
I can do the mod for you, and if you want me to PM me. There are lots of people can do it from this site though. _________________
