I just ordered a brand new 1080p LCD HDTV, and I want to make sure my modded xbox is ready to be configured for it. I've read in order to enable widescreen you have to set it to widescreen in the original MS dashboard. Unfortuneately my original MS dash has been broke since I set it up. When I try and launch the retail kernal from the Xenium OS menu it starts to boot the MS dash then gives me an error code 21.
Could someone tell me how to rebuild the MS dash from scratch, or another way to enable widescreen without it? Any help would be much appreciated.
I'm running an xbox 1.0 with a Xenium gold mod chip, and I use XBMC for pretty much everything else.

Download it from where? And I think I have a MS dashboard already but it won't launch. Don't I need a bios to work with it?

Yes, I know how to use FTP... However as I said above I'm pretty sure i already have the MS dash, and I've copied it to C: via FTP but it won't boot. Do I need to use a specific BIOS?

Use AID to format your C drive and complete replace the files. Disable the chip to see if it will boot to MSdash.
If it doesn't or you can't disable the chip, just use xbmcs file explorer and launch C:\xboxdash.xbe. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

Ahh good call launching it from XBMC. I never thought of that. It came up just fine and I was able to select Widescreen, thanks kraven!
