After installing the softmod using the guide on this site, my standard AV works but my HD Component Video only works for the green Xbox bootup screen which then turns to scrambled lines/dashes before reaching the dashboard.
I have done no updates and I just install Unleash X and the softmod today.

You proably need to change your video settings in UnleashX.
Does your TV support 480p/720p/1080i? _________________

SID 4.5 is VERY grumpy when it comes to the HD cable. You can be set at 480p (or is it i?) and it will still go all fuzzy winkles on you. Some people say using the "High Definition patch" on the softmod installer works, but I have not gotten it to make a difference for me. So, seeing as how my TV doesn't support HD anyway (why the hell does it have component input then???) i just use my standard A/V. But in your case, you'd want to ask around a bit more about this problem. Perhaps if Nknave was still around, or pirrup, they could elaborate furthur.
Greven, anymore input? _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."
I installed the HD patch in the installer but then it asks if i want to uninstall it (Strange) The Component works all the way through the install untill the system needs to reboot.
When it reboots into Unleash X it is all f'ed up (black and white dots/lines/dashes)
When i put Spiinter cell in the drive and boot up the Linux save and try the HD patch that does nothing either.
Any Ideas?

Like Angelos said HD is buggy on SID4.5. I'm at the extent of my knowledge here, so we'll have to wait for someone else to get back to you. _________________
