I don't have a 1.6 but I got Gentoo Linux running on my xbox. It will auto load mythTV when installation is complete. The xbox controllers won't work with it, it'll boot, go into it's gui and there it sits. I'm a little lazy to rig up a usb wiring harness to hook a keyboard up to it. I'm waiting on my X3 faceplate to come in. Anyway, I logged into it with my computer via SSH. It works! It's awsome!! Hell, I even got Unreal-IRCd up and running on my xbox; And connected to it I'll reply to this post with more information once I hook up a keyboard and mouse and try this thing out in more detail. My current system is a xbox v1.4 with Xecuter 2.something lite (Xecuter3 is on it's way) and a Seagate 160Gig hard drive. This Gentoo Linux Media Center looks awesome. I'll defintetly reply back once I can get some use of the actual gui. SSH works great. It says to flash the bios, but I didn't and I got this far, I think it just needs a keyboard and a mouse. Just like I think I need another beer. lol

I had a smooth installation. If anyone else trys this out, toss out a reply and let me know if you've gotten any more progress out of this than I have.
