hi
i ordered a mod chip because i f**ked up my hard drive it got erased
so i thoutg it would fix it it is a smartxx 3.0 when it boots up it gose to the bank page and i click on one of them and it reboots my xbox and it says that i dont have a bios what is roung it dose ent let me boot slayers autoinstaller or any disc only the linux disc that come with it i wont to put evox or unleashedx on it but i cant find it. please help my email is steffonlindrud@msn.com

i think u can get the preflashed ones, just read on the bottom of the modchip page from whatever site u are ordering from. Saves some money... You can get cromwell or flashbios, they are legal. Flashbios also allows you to network flash, cd flash, or hard drive flash the modchip with the bios u want. _________________

Also, junk that slayers disk, its out dated and over a year old. I suggest getting AID _________________

actually with the smartxx chip you can flash it by hooking it up to your computer all you have to do is download remote flasher from the smartxx website and get you bios from the usual places if you cant get the aid disc to load. then after you flash the bios the AID disc should load. thats what I had to do
