I installed the Xecuter 3 chip and X3 bios. I was able to ftp to my HD and backup all of my files to my PC. I have a few questions:
1) How do I copy/backup my games to the Xbox HD so that I can play from there w/o the disc?
2) Is there a way to play DVD+R movies on the Xbox?
I've been searching through this forum for answers, but about half the posts I want to read refuse to come up...
Thanks in advance for the assistance!

Ok--that worked! Thanks. I am used AID 3.0 and installed the XBMC dash and DVD2XBOX.
Three more questions:
1) (two parts) if I disable the Boot to Config Live on my X3 bios, it should boot directly to the c: dash--right? If so, how do I get back to X3?
2) I have a WD1600JB which is lockable according to the charts I found, but ConfigMagic and my X3 Bios says the drive is not lockable--any ideas?
3) What is the best launcher type dashboard?
Thanks in advance!!

1. I suggest you disable the x3 configlive because it's really not needed unless you need to change something around. To acess the x3CL again, during power up, hold the white button down, until you enter the x3CL screen.
1a. you can specify what directory to boot from, and then what dashboard you want to boot first. Something like boot directory: E:\ Boot priority: 1.XBMC.xbe 2. Unleashx.xbe 3. evoxdash.xbe etc
2. I wouldn't worry about this unless you want to go on xbox live. If so, then I would look for another harddrive. If XBL is not that important, there are other ways to transfer you gamesaves and rip cd's, like xbox media center...
3.I use xbox media center because of all its features, plugins (scripts), media capabilities, the list goes on. You will just have to try them all out, and choose which one suits you. Install them as apps and you can launch each one and have a look. _________________
