hi guys, i have a v1.1 box. the stock drive is kapoot, the box was softmodded, i have a 40gb maxtor drive, when i hook the maxtor drive to the box i get error 16, would rebuilding the maxtor drive using xboxhdm1.9 with default dash etc fix this prob Confused

you'll need a backup of the xbox eeprom so that XBOX HDM can relock the drive once it has been prepared

i have hooked the stock hdd, the one i thought was kapoot, to my pc and it has detected it with no probs, what do i need to do now to get into it and get the eeprom etc, any help would be much appreciated
