first of all, thanks for the link, i've been looking for a cheap one for a while. Second of all, it's LinkSys, that sucker's really one of the best you can get. Your router must support WirelessB for this thing to work. Doesn't look like it supports G, so you're stuck with 11MB/s (someone correct me if I'm wrong about the speed). But that shoul dbe more than enough to communicate with your LAN and even the internet smoothly (IE online gaming, blah blah blah). and any media streaming you do shouldn't really see too much of a hit.
If I were you, I'd snag that sucker up. There's 41 available, so don't hesitate. The guy is a major power seller, and I"ve bought from him before. So go for it, bro. Worse comes to worse, it doesn't work, slang it back online for closer to the retail price. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

Hey guys,
This is the device I use on mine, works great, but one thing you need to remember is this is a B (11MB) bridge, not a G (54MB) bridge. How a wireless network works is that it only runs at the lowest common denominator, so if you put this on your network and everything is running G (54MB), then this will actually kick down the broadcast speed of EVERYTHING on the network connected to your access point. This is not going to effect your internet speed, since most people do not get more then 8mb down anyways, but it will definately effect computer to computer file transfers...
Just a little knowledge to share...

That is a VERY good point, bladz. So, if you have a wirelessG network, you're going to want to find a wirelessG device (which will cost more in the long run) or only connect this device when you really need to use it.
Bladz, just one point of interest i need to ask. My router allows broadcast in both G and B modes at the same time. Is what you said true for my router (wrt54gs) as well with the hacked firmware? _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."
