Seems like the Error 06 means that the hard drive is locked with the wrong key. You may need to boot into the Xenium menu and make sure to lock the hard drive to your xbox. That's odd that you get error 13 when you boot with the chip on, and 06 with the chip off. Can you play retail games both with the chip on and the chip off? Knowing that could help us a bit. _________________

boot using the eject button this will take you to the OS screen
flash a hacked bios and then launch that bios with the AID disc in the drive
where did the hard drive come from that is in the xbox now

how long did you leave it for, not long enough is my guess. do it again, but this time leave it. Eventually the AID menu will appear

It could be a probolem with the drive, the IDE cable, or the controller on the mobo. If you disconnect the IDE from the hdd and boot to MSdash, do you get a different error? You should get 7.
You mentioned that you tried another drive, but the xenium said it wasn't lockbable. You should still be able to FTP a dash to that drive through FTP in the xenium, and from there you should have something useful, if not able to boot with the chip disabled. _________________
