probebly a totally noob question but what files should the neogeo.zip bios contain? ive got a few and they have the same files but they arent the same as themissing files needed which it asks for when i try to load a neogeo game.

You are able to get the real bios on xbins but you may need to find better roms sets _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

I'm in the same boat, I can play 2 out of 99 neogeo roms on my box with my current neogeo.zip file (Neo Mr Do and zed blade), using roms that play 100% on my pc using neoragex v 0.9c
Thing is I have tried about 5 different rom sites, and the version of the rom i am using is identical down to the last byte.
So is there a rom site that someone could reccomend (either on this thread or by pm) who's roms work on an xbox?

Go to xbins and get the newest ver of FBAXXX and the bio folder should just be in with the games in Zipped format
BTW you can always run the data opiton and it will tell you what files you are missing too _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

nb last time I ran fbaxxx the games loaded but the grahics were all over the place <<I'm only talking a few weeks ago. and I think I did rob the neogeo.zip out of the rom folder and tried it with mameox (is there a better mame emu for xbox??)
Give me a day or so to check it out and I will reply with my findings, maybe I messed up last time?
Any way of knowing if a rom is mame 0.84 compatable?

Well Mame you can get on Xbins for the newest ver. As for the Neogeo games...I can only play about 60 of them anbd thats it....for mame you can run a software program off youre PC to fill in the files you need. but I forgot what that program was called a long time ago. But what youre going for you may want to run FBAXXX pro (due to your rom list) FBAXXX will just run basic roms _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!
