can i get some info on how to soft mod my xbox?and where to get the software to do it?

The softmod of choice around here is SID4.5: Softmod Installer Deluxe, Version 4.5.
If your fresh to modding, I recommend downloading a tool called AID(auto installer deluxe) 3.0. It not only has a program to install tons of apps, emulators, etc, but it comes with the SID files you need. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

Using AID is as easy as dropping the disk into the xbox, finding the apps you want to install, and hitting A.
However, to do the softmod(needs to be done first) you'll need to do a few things.
Do you have a USB memory device, like a thumb drive?
Do you have something like a USB extension cable a controller your willing to modify, or a xbox extension cable?
Basically, you install modified drivers on your PC so the PC thinks the USB stick is a xbox memory card. You load the SID files onto it from the PC, then then copy the game saves to the xbox.
You will also need a exploitable version of Splinter Cell, Mechassault, or 007: Agent under fire. Do you have any of these games? _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

or go to eb games and get action replay, or gameshark for xbox, use that in replace of the usb drive and cable, if you cant get that stuff the none of us may mod it for you, just ask _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com
