HAHAHA Thats Funny But I Had Somewhat The Same Problem I Bought Sony DVDs And My DVD Burner Wouldnt Read Them....All In All Now My Computer Thinks It Has A Sony Dvd RW Drive.

I like to stay with the crappy brands of dvd media. Such as Nextech Dvd+r's, 100 pack of assorted dvd+r's from staples. Then i buy a good brand of "MEmorex, is it live or is it memorex?," and my xbox doesnt read em.

i have never used memorex DL i use memorex +R or -R with no problems on a phillips drive..
