I have the Duo X2 modchip in my xbox along with the evox dashboard. Just now i FTP'd a bios that i found known as flashBios under downloads in the bios folder in the C drive of the xbox. Then i used the flash utility in evox and flashed "flashbios". I need it back to my original bios please help as I am not able to load bios from the xbox hard drive or from cd.

It is on the network, and i see a "enable network flashing" thing, do i click that? What do i do after this...

Connect your xbox to Pc, done it great.
FTP your hacked bios.
Under launch menu, select add launch item.
Find where you FTP'd your bios, and select it.
You should be able to create a name for it, name it whatever you like. Select OK
It should say "Adding Launch item!"
Then it will take you back to the Launch Menu.
You will see the name you just named. Make sure the bios looks for the dashboard. Like if the dashboard is called evoxdash.xbe, make sure the bios is set to look for evoxdash.xbe.
Then launch your bios and the evox dash should come up.

i accidently flashed with a bios called flashbios 3.0.3, it has the following options: "enable network flashing", "load bios from hdd", "load bios from disc", "unlock HDD", "lock hdd". Load bios from hdd and disc has no luck. I cannot FTP either. I need to have the right bios which is the blue Xbox logo which says "xecuter 2" underneath the logo in order to play games.

Why cant you FTP? Any info? You should load a bios of your HD, so you should learn how to FTP.
Ok, just give us a lot of info about why you cant FTP.

i know how to ftp thats not a biggie. I just flashed it with the wrong bios which might have changed the ftp settings for some reason. someone suggested a network flash but i dont know how to do it.

When your xbox is connected to your network, boot the xbox. You'll see a blue screen with some options. Select "Network flash"(or something like that) and hit A. It will giev you an IP address. Put that address in your web browser. Point to the bios file on your PC and flash away.

Please do not touch the console whilst flashing is in progress! Your console should shutdown automatically when flashing is completed. If your console does not turn off please do so manually when the power led turns amber.
in the xbox it says

it also says this in the beginning. does this mean the bios has to be 1mb? Can someone direct me to a good bios which loads evox as the dashboard. I used to have a blue x logo with xecuter2 written underneath.
Xecuter FlashBIOS v3.0.3
Use the form below to update the BIOS of your modchip via webserver. WARNING! It will use the file you upload to replace the contents of the currently selected 1MB bank (For X2 mods it will simply start flashing from the beginning of bank 1 - your bios needs to ideally be 512k (2 x 256k) - that way if you mess up you can switch to bank 2 and get back to the FlashBIOS). Make sure you have read all the documentation before flashing.

The xecuter information can be ignored.
That error shows up usually because of 2 reasons: the wrong bios size is being flashed or flash protection is turned on on the chip.
The latter is easy to check, just make sure that the flash protection is turned off.
With the chip you need to make sure that the chip is set accordingly for the size of the bios taht you are trying to flash. How to do that is beyond me, I'll be searching though, if I find out I'll post back, never dealt with a doux before _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide

Xecuter 3 Bios Bank Switches
1MB Bios Banks
Bank 1234: on on off off
Bank 5678: off on off off
When switch is disconnected the X3 defaults to 1MB Bios (Banks 1234)
